Dr. Farzad Danesh received his DDS degree in 1990 and also specialty and MSc degree in Endodontics in 1993 from Tehran University, Iran. He has devoted his studying to Endodontics since 1990.

Dr. Danesh came to Canada in 2010 and very soon was qualified as a general practitioner in early 2012. He was also admitted to a very competitive Endodontic program at the University of Toronto.  He successfully passed the National Dental Specialty Examination in Endodontics and became a Fellow of Royal College of Dentists of Canada, FRCD(C), on July 2013. Dr. Danesh was an Adjunct Clinical Professor at the University of Western Ontario, Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry, Endodontic Clinic, when he was living with his family in London, Ontario.

Dr. Danesh has an academic life. He enjoys training dentists through their Endodontic procedures. His last presentation on February 22, 2015 at the Toronto Civic center, which received very rewarding feedbacks from the attendees, has addressed the diagnosis and management of longitudinally fractured teeth which will be followed by a comprehensive discussion on the matter of vertical root fractures very soon. He has served the dental communities and students for more than 20 years with outstanding performances in teaching, research and clinical services.

Dr. Danesh has performed more than 50 scientific oral presentations, particularly:

2006: Apical plug Technique, American Association of Endodontists, Annual Session, Hawaii, USA.

2007: Effect of Blood Contamination on Apical Leakage of Root Canal Fillings, IFEA, 7th Endodontic World Congress, Vancouver, Canada.

2009: Apxification or Apical Plug Technique: Which One? American Association of Endodontists, Annual Session, Orlando, Florida, USA.

2015: Is it cracked….? Diagnosis, Management, and Treatment of Longitudinal Tooth Fractures. CE program, Toronto.

He has also published several articles in international peer-reviewed journals such as Journal of Endodontics and International Journal of Endodontics, two most popular journals in the field of Endodontics.

Dr. Danesh is a Fellow of the Royal College of the Dentists of Canada [FRCD(C)], member of the Royal College of the Dental Surgeons of Ontario (RCDSO), member of Ontario Dental Association (ODA), member of American Association of Endodontists (AAE), and Ontario Society of Endodontists (OSE).
